Radhey Radhey,
1) We should imagine ourselves as the bhav deh and we are doing seva.
2) Regarding the different classifications of Gopis, Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj has made devotional practice very simple: he says to imagine yourself as a Gopi, and love Radha Krishna with a selfless desire to serve Them. Then you will receive the highest Divine state.
3) Mansik seva is the most important. However, physical seva should be practiced whenever we have the opportunity. It helps us to dedicate our mind more to Guru. In other words, it improves our mansik seva.
4) Yes, because smaran is primary. Doing kirtan is to enhance our smaran. But smaran without kirtan is also ok.
5) Desiring for tears is good, because it shows that you understand the importance of humbleness. But do not feel dejected if tears don’t come. Just keep doing your sadhana and Guru will grace you with those tears. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. Have confidence that God and Guru are with you and are helping you. Eventually the tears will come.
